POTATOES
Potatoes is the fifth most important crop in the world, it is nutritious and highly productive.
We import our seeds from most widely- recognized international companies that have very good reputation and fame and grow them in our fields, some of which are still virgin while others are located in the pest- free areas to ensure that they are free from any diseases.
We have two seasons for potatoes
Winter Season:
We grow in September and October 1000 Hectares, harvest our crop in January, February and March. This is our main export crop.
Spring Season:
We grow in December and January 600 Hectares, harvest our crop in May and June This crop is mainly for multiplication of seeds, for domestic
marketconsumption and also for export
to some countries of Eastern Europe.
